Project idea

One of the most visited information resources in the country. A state-of-the-art, fast, convenient resource. Organization of access by paid subscribers to analytical content.

Project challenges

First of all, the task was to develop a product able to withstand sharp bursts of loads. At the back-end, subscriber service had to be provided, as one of the agency’s services is to provide paid access to exclusive information and analytical content.

Results

Following the implementation and commissioning of the new project, the site traffic over the course of 6 months grew from 30 to more than 200 thousand visitors per day and with peak loads of about 10 thousand simultaneous active users.

A number of additional user-friendly services have also been developed on the site for users and the agency staff. The site has been integrated with an internal content management system.

A content archive has been compiled covering content dating back to 1999 - several million news and analytical articles - and a convenient search engine introduced that allows for search by multiple parameters and filters.

In order for our visitors to be able to watch movies online in the best quality, we solved the problem of converting video and increasing sound power, if necessary.
